Although hydrogen fuel cell bicycles have not been officially launched in China, hydrogen energy bicycles are not new. Many domestic and foreign companies have launched hydrogen energy bicycles.

Pragma industries, a French company, has launched an alpha bike. Equipped with a two liter hydrogen fuel tank, the bike can run about 100 kilometers.

The advantages and disadvantages of hydrogen fuel cell bicycles are similar to that of hydrogen energy vehicles. The most important problem is also the cost and infrastructure. The high cost and lack of infrastructure hinder the promotion of hydrogen energy bicycles in the past.

Compared with electric bicycles, hydrogen energy bicycles have the following advantages:

Quick hydrogenation. It takes only a few minutes to fill up with hydrogen, while it takes hours to charge an electric bicycle.

Long endurance. Hydrogen bikes can last more than 100 kilometers, while e-bikes tend to last only half.
